Having long been defeated by any filing system I’ve tried in the past, it’s time to go for the ultimate in simple filing:

File everything in a single box.

Update: Gone through and emptied all my folders with paperwork from 2005-2008 into a single box, and have started a new box for 2009. Maybe, just maybe, this will allow me to tame the unruly beast that is filing.
